Winter weather decorates the ground with beautiful landscapes and can provide a host of enjoyable outdoor activities. During cold and damp weather conditions it is important to protect your feet by keeping them warm and dry. Foot protection is critical for the elderly and people with circulation problems and especially diabetics. During cold weather the body moves the blood away from the feet and toes, which causes numbness with prolonged exposure to frigid weather.
Follow these important tips for safe outdoor fun:
- Change socks daily
